The Navy League of Canada – Nanaimo Branch is a volunteer-driven charitable organization supporting over 125 local youth aged 9–18 through leadership, seamanship, teamwork, and community-based programming across the mid-Vancouver Island region.

On Friday, May 22, 2026, we will host the Inaugural All Hands on Deck – Golf Classic, a community-focused charity golf tournament created to support our local youth programs. Proceeds from this event will directly support essential program costs, equipment, and uniforms, as well as long-term investments such as the acquisition of a dedicated safety boat, which is critical for safe on-water training and expanding youth opportunities.

The event will include 18 holes of golf at Cottonwood Golf Course, on-course games and contests, food and refreshments throughout the day, swag bags, prizes, a post-round dinner and social gathering, raffles, a silent auction, and a 50/50 draw, all in a relaxed and engaging atmosphere.

Sponsorship support plays a vital role in keeping youth participation accessible and affordable while sustaining high-quality programming. All sponsorships are eligible for an official
